Hey Toppie,
Thanks for the fun Terribly Twisted Tale series all October. I really enjoyed them. And I’m glad to see Sassy made it back! (Although I felt a little uncomfortable when he was made to strip down for his photo shoot).

Thanks Dale, I appreciate the complement and commentary. I’m not sure from your comment just how “uncomfortabe” that scene with Sassy was for you — if much at all. I was a little worried about it myself…
After I completed Smellcast 125, I realized that the Sassy strip down scene WAS uncomfortable. I mean, I wanted it to be a little uncomfortable… and I wanted to fit it into a generally comedic milieu — but I didn’t want to go too far and turn people off. I made a few changes to the scene and also recorded and tacked on a new preface to the episode. Both moves were, admittedly, an after-thought and I’m not sure they helped.
When I was doing it I had in mind the very tragic and touching scene from the 1980 movie “Fame” in which the character of “Coco” (played by Irene Cara) gets what she thinks is her first “Hollywood” break but it is in fact, nothing more than a porn film producer hoping to exploit her. I WANTED to do a funny version of that scene — to take it into the arena of absurdity where the character of Sassy works so well. To be honest, I’m not sure if I succeeded. What do you all think? Was it too much? Write me and let me know!
