I’m glad you’re father is better! He’s got hard strength and endurance to keep himself busy. That makes him forget he has health problems.
I’m sorry you’re mother’s friend is sick. I’m sure she will help her through the bad times. At least she will feel being useful and get a rest from the stress she gets from your father.

Mom is doing real good out there on the West coast and her friend is much better. I just talked with her today, and she says she will probably be heading back to Ithaca before the 18th. Her journey went without a hitch and I guess I worried for nothing, as everything went just fine. Dad and i are looking forward for her return.

Thanks Mark. My parents are a big part of my life, and I try to support them as best I can, as they have always supported me. Ithaca — and New York — is a very interesting place to live — there’s so much more for me to talk about in future episodes!
