As befitting my weirdo status, I used to have a pet skunk when I lived in the Floridas. Can’t wait to hear your story. Wondering if it will involve a bath in tomato juice.

It probably would have been a better story if the skunk had sprayed me but no, I merely startled him when I sprang to my feet in shock. Do they make good pets?

Her name was Ethel and I got her as a wee skunky. She was descented of course, and the standard black and white. The pet store also had chocolate and white. We trained her to use a litter box, but she tore up the carpets with her long assed claws. And skunks have sharp teeth!

Yeah, my boyfriend at the time vetoed Sister Mary Penguin. So we wound up with Ethel.

“Sister Mary Penguin…” LOL! OK Jay, frankly, I can’t sing, dance OR play an instrument. BUT! My father taught me how to take a blade of grass, place it between my two thumbs and blow to produce a loud, shrill whistle!! Quite A talent!! It just MIGHT be my “act” for the lil talent show! Kooky counts! By the way, the official title of the talent show is “Toppie Smellie’s Big, Freakish Talent Show!” So… maybe NOW you might possibly come up with something!! No talent is too big or too small to fit into THIS talent show! LOL! There’s a new link at the top of the title page for anyone who wants the details.
