sc 226 A Conversation with QSledge!

From Washington State, Larry (aka) QSledge, joins Toppie to talk about working his “on-call” job. Larry and Toppie then go on to discuss working in the health care industry.  Toppie tells Larry one of his nightmare patient care stories. Larry explains how insurance misunderstandings, sloppy documentation by doctors, and other medical industry inefficiencies account for sky-rocketing health care costs.  Plus: Larry the wheel chair repo(er)!! Finally, what Toppie’s father did to avoid his embarrassment over using as-seen-on-TV powered scooters!

Wow. I don’t think I could do a job like that, on call, in a health care type of field. It sounds so incredibly stressful!

It could be at times. The general stress came from (at least when I worked in a hospital) that you had so many patients to care for and only so many hours to do it in — and we were spread kinda thin.
