sc 254 The Puppy Adventure

Hi folks.  The new Smellcast feed seems to be up on Itunes now.  Please re-subscribe!  As for this blog, I am having difficulty determining a way to let you all hear the latest episode of the smellcast on your computer, right now, with just a click.  Libsyn just isn’t making it easy for me to know how to do this.  Instead, please to use the link at the end of this entry to DIRECT DOWNLOAD the episode to your computer.  At least THAT is working.

Anyway… on with the show…

The story of how Toppie triumphantly (mostly) drove his mother to Carmel NY to pick up the new family puppy dog!

Write to Toppie at Smellcast@aol.com. Leave a comment right here on Toppie’s blog. Friend Toppie on Facebook and follow him on Twitter and Google+. Look at kooky stuff on smellcast.tumblr.com. Check out the Rainbow Podsquad Network!

Right click HERE to Direct Download episode 254.

As of this morning, I could subscribe to the new feed in iTunes, but it won’t allow me to actually download the new show. I’ll keep checking.

I finally was able to get yours through iTunes. Now I gotta figure out what’s going on with Vera’s. Oh, by the way, going to another horror con in March. Let me know if you want anything.

Great news Jay! Thanks for hanging in there! Which Horror Con are you going to? I’ll give the matter some thought — perhaps Chariots of the Gods… Heh!

By the way… one thing that MIGHT be confusing you (because it baffled me for a bit) is that on my listening device was Vera’s old feed… which of course had nothing new. So for a while I thought I wasn’t getting the new stuff! But then I scrolled down and lo and behold… there was Vera’s NEW Itunes feed — sitting on my listening device the whole time!

I’m going to Monster Mania in Cherry Hill. Hopefully, I’ll be seeing Gavin and JIm as well. I can keep an eye out for you for CotG.

I deleted the old feeds. I could get her show if I went to iTunes right from my iPOd and downloaded it. It may be working now. Thanks.

Soda sounds like a sweet little dog. If he doesn’t bark, you’ve lucked out!

I also think you’re right to let your mom do more of the cooking. I think too often we expect too little of older folks and they slowly lose the ability to do anything. As Ann Landers said, don’t use it and you’ll lose it.

Soda is sweeter than I have words for. Honestly.

Generally, I agree with your thought about older folks. The last three days has made me reconsider my decision, however. At least for the moment. In fact, I’m probably going to record an episode tonight so I can talk about it. Mostly just because I need to unwind and talk. It’s been a very, very long day.
