I haven’t listened yet but wanted to see if your mom was okay. How are things?

As of today, 02/14/12, Mom was doing much better than the day I brought her in to er. MUCH BETTER! She is still in ICU… and there are many tests they want to do. I will be very surprised if they come up with anything conclusive. That’s the story of her life. But most importantly — Mom is feeling much, much better right now. Thanks Jay!

I’m glad to hear it. I’m listening now. I hope she gets out soon.
And you’re right, doctors don’t know a whole lot about migraines.

This is a turning point. Life can’t go on as before. There are many changes ahead for us as a family. We’re just discovering them. It feels grim right now. Mom’s out of ICU but still in hospital. She might come home 02/16 Thursday (tomorrow). Or maybe Friday. But its a whole new ball game and we all know it. It was a mistake for me to not be there every night cooking for them and helping with stuff. Turned out to be a real bad move. The good news is Mom’s heart is back to beating normally. I will let you all know more soon.

Toppie-you can’t blame yourself for changes in your mom’s condition. You are a good son. Things happen. I’m sorry to hear that this episode will have such a big impact. Know that my thoughts are with you and your family. Let me know if there is anything I can do. Hugs.
