sc 68 Unholy Proposals.

April 27, 2010

On today’s Smellcast, Toppie talks about how his mother is doing since having her heart converted back to a normal rhythm.  Also, his Father is going to see a specialist today about his excruciatingly painful back condition.  Then, listen as Toppie tells you the story behind the story about the UK, the Vatican and a certain little memo from the UK’s Foreign Office that kind of got leaked to the press.  It’s hilarious!

sc 67 Epic Fail.

April 24, 2010

In a short post-script to yesterday’s podcast, Toppie relates yet another way he has disappointed his parents.  Yep, that’s right!  Just when you thought Toppie couldn’t f*ck up more… low and behold yet another failure — only this one is EPIC.

sc 66 Sh*t’s Hittin’ the Fan!

April 23, 2010

Toppie talks about some of the latest developments in his home life with his parental units including how he completely upset his mother by being a total slob.  Yes, the sh*t is hitting the fan here at the Smellie Ranch!  Whotta schmuck!  Sheesh.

The closing song is from the album ‘The Velvet Underground’ and is sung by drummer Maureen Tucker.

sc 35 And the Beat Goes On…

February 9, 2010

Toppie gives an update on his mom’s condition following a mini-stroke or a seizure or  — if we are to believe the doctors — a condition that’s ALL IN HER MIND. Anything doctors can’t explain is “just in your mind.” Fucking Doctors…

Ends with a clip from the old Michael Douglas TV talk-show where his guests are Cher and actress Kate Jackson.  Seems to us that the show probably dates from sometime around 1978 or so.

sc 34 In Thy Name.

February 7, 2010

Toppie’s mother has fallen ill, leading him to think about family and family ties. To bring in a little funny Toppie plays a portion off a Gladys Harvey CD, and ends with a song from the Rochester Gay Men’s Chorus.
